Candlestick reading drills
Timed annotation rounds on historical bars — mark body, wick, and context before the clock ends, then hear instructor critique.
Who this is for
Traders who already recognise common candlestick shapes but freeze when the bar closes in live context. If you can name a hammer on a quiz slide yet hesitate when the prior trend is messy, these drills are built for that gap.
What you practise
Each round presents a cropped chart segment with the next few bars hidden. You annotate:
- Body direction and relative size against the prior three to five candles
- Wick rejection relative to nearby swings
- Whether the bar sits at a prior reaction zone or in open space
- A one-sentence bias before the reveal
The instructor then walks the same chart aloud — where your read held, where context was underweighted, and where pattern labels arrived too early.

Provider and setting
Sessions are led by Framework CI instructors who have spent years marking charts for themselves before teaching. The studio sits near Bongeunsa-ro in Gangnam; monitors and seating are prepared before you arrive.
Process
- Request a seat and note your primary instrument and timeframe.
- We confirm an evening date and send a brief prep note (bring nothing proprietary; we supply bars).
- Arrive fifteen minutes early for seating.
- Complete six drill rounds with critique between them.
- Leave with written notes from your own sheets — the work is yours to revisit.
Duration and location
Ninety minutes in studio at 18 Bongeunsa-ro 86-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06163. Evening start times are typical; occasional Saturday mornings open when demand allows.
Preparation
Know which market you watch most. You do not need advanced software — we project the charts. Arrive rested; the clock is intentionally tight.
Constraints
Groups cap at six. Sessions are conducted in English. We do not admit observers who are not participating in the drills.
Pricing basis
