About Framework CI

Origin

Framework CI started when a handful of Seoul-based traders grew tired of pattern webinars that never forced a timed read. They rented a quiet room near Bongeunsa-ro, printed unmarked charts, and ran clocked annotation rounds for each other. The habit became the studio: technical analysis training built around candlestick reading drills, not motivational talks.

Mission

Help traders write a clearer sentence about the bar in front of them — body, wick, and context — before they reach for a trade idea. We measure progress by how calmly someone can explain a pause, not by how many pattern names they recite.

How we work

Sessions stay small. Instructors mark charts alongside participants. Feedback is specific: “you named the engulfing before checking the prior swing high” lands harder than a general pep talk. English is the working language so visiting traders and local desks can share the same room.

People

Haneul Park leads most evening drills. She spent years annotating KOSPI and USD/KRW charts for her own book before teaching. Her sessions emphasise wick rejection at prior reaction zones.

James Okonkwo facilitates weekend intensives and private critiques. His background sits in FX session overlaps; he is particular about dojis that appear mid-range versus those that print at a measured swing.

Portraits and bios stay intentionally short — the charts in the room matter more than stage presence.

Community

Alumni sometimes return for live annotation labs when a new instrument enters their book. We publish journal notes on candlestick questions that come up repeatedly in the studio — always practice-facing, never hype.
